London – 15th October, 2018 – Asset TV, the leading global online video platform for investment professionals, today announced the hire of media specialist, Ben Bonney-James, to lead its UK wholesale investment sales team.

Reporting to Tim Baker, Director, UK & Europe, Ben will lead the team working with UK wholesale asset managers to support Asset TV's audience of 25,000 UK wealth managers, DFMs and advisers.

"When I began the search to build the team, I had Ben at the top of the list; Ben's experience makes him one of the few 'go to' people asset managers value to create bespoke content solutions," said Tim Baker.

Bonney-James was previously Sales Director at BrightTalk, where he managed key relationships; and prior to that, the Financial Times as Sales Director and Family Office Publisher.

"I am excited to bring my experience to the industry's most respected video platform," Bonney-James said. "The combination of MiFID II, SM&CR and the calls for transparency, mean that Asset TV has a major role to play in developing communication and learning strategies for the investment industry and I am eager to be a part of making that happen."
