Bonds present a strong investment case for a recession that may be headed our way. As central banks and the Fed slow – and eventually peter out – the breakneck pace of interest rate hikes, bonds may perform much better and offer some protection to investors’ portfolios. Terry Oh, head of PIMCO Global Wealth Management for the UK and Middle East, says investors should think about their fixed income allocations and the opportunities presented by higher starting yields across sectors.
