Webinar replay: Russia and Ukraine: beyond the fog of war part III

|

Learning: Unstructured

Just as the world was starting to emerge from the most severe pandemic in a century, Russia’s invasion of Ukraine started the most disruptive war at the heart of Europe since World War II. The resulting economic and political shocks present a real-world test for environmental, social and governance (ESG) policies.

Listen as Invesco Global Market Strategist, Arnab Das, led a discussion exploring:

  • How energy policy could shift due to higher prices and supply vulnerabilities.
  • What prominence different sectors such as energy and defence are given.
  • What impact sanctions will have at both the sovereign and corporate level.
  • How the balance between the “E” and the “S” in ESG is being reassessed.

The webinar featured Invesco’s Director of ESG Research, Sudip Hazra; our Head of EU Government Relations and Public Policy, Elizabeth Gillam; and Global Head of Asset Allocation Research, Paul Jackson.
