Webinar replay: Sector rotation and asset allocation

|

Learning: Unstructured

The pandemic might have started to fade into the background, but in 2022 so far, we’ve seen global markets reacting to rising interest rates, inflationary pressures, and the war in Ukraine.

In this on-demand webinar, András Vig, multi-asset strategist at Invesco, described how he thinks markets had been impacted by these events after the first quarter of the year and analysed the performance of US stocks around the outbreak of hostilities. He also gave an update on his model sector allocations which were published in the last edition of his quarterly report Strategic Sector Selector.

We were also joined by Hamish Preston, Director U.S. Equity Indices at S&P Dow Jones Indices, to hear from him on the global applications of S&P 500® sectors.
