The quarter to the end of June was another volatile period in UK equity markets. It all started in buoyant mood, with markets shrugging off the concerns around the banking sector that affected the end of the first quarter. But after a strong start, the second half of May onwards saw challenges appear including the impact of excessive euphoria around Artificial Intelligence.
